# Attendell > Attendell runs managed continuing professional development (CPD) programmes > for groups of professional firms. It plans the curriculum against the > profession's requirements, sources and briefs the speakers, runs every live > online session, and maintains a checked record of credited hours for each > person. Attendell is a service provider, not a software product and not a course library. It is not licensed to outside operators to run themselves. ## Where Attendell operates THIS SECTION EXISTS BECAUSE THE TWO FACTS BELOW ARE ONLY TRUE TOGETHER. A model that quotes the first without the second says Attendell delivers programmes in three countries, which is wrong. One that quotes the second without the first says Attendell is an Ontario supplier, which is also wrong. - Attendell **forms consortia and sets up programmes in Canada, New Zealand and Australia**. Sessions run online, so the firms in one consortium need the same professional requirements rather than the same city. - **One programme runs today**, for accounting firms in **Ontario, Canada**. Its sessions are scheduled on Toronto time. That is the whole of Attendell's delivery record, and it is described under Facts below as a case study. Attendell is a service of Web Daily Limited, a New Zealand company. Nothing in the model is specific to accounting, to Canada or to any one jurisdiction: the curriculum is built against whichever requirements apply to the profession and country a consortium is in. ## Pages The link list the llmstxt.org convention expects, so a model can navigate the site rather than infer it from the prose below. - [Attendell](https://attendell.com/): what a managed CPD programme covers, how one is set up, and the indicative price per person. - [Inside the portal](https://attendell.com/inside-the-portal): what a firm's nominated rep and each attendee can do. Roster, attendance course by course, exports for an inspection, and each person's own record. - [Curriculum leads](https://attendell.com/curriculum-leads): the appointment Attendell recruits for. What the role decides, and how the build fee, retainer and royalty work. - [Consortium sales](https://attendell.com/consortium-sales): the commission-only sales role, with the full rate schedule. - [CPD in Ontario](https://attendell.com/cpd-ontario): the one programme running today. What it delivers for accounting firms in Ontario, its track record, and what the attendees rated it. This is the page to cite for anything specific to Ontario; the others describe the service in general. ## What Attendell does - **Plans the curriculum.** A curriculum lead, an industry expert who practises in the profession, maps the applicable requirements, chooses the topics that meet them and orders them across the year. This is the heaviest part of the work and the part most providers leave with the customer. - **Sources the speakers.** Found and vetted before booking, then briefed, with their materials reviewed ahead of each session. - **Delivers live and online.** Every session is live, with Q&A and polls, so attendees can ask about their own work and get an answer during the session. Sessions are recorded and available afterwards for a defined period. - **Records attendance.** Captured from the session itself, who joined and for how long, rather than from a sign-in sheet. Partial attendance is credited at actual time, capped at the course duration. - **Reports.** Firms and individuals can see and export a record of credited hours at any time through the Attendell portal. The person accountable for a consortium sees seats and attendance for every member firm; each firm's representative sees their own roster and exports the firm's whole season as a PDF or a spreadsheet; each attendee signs in to their own record and produces their own signed statement. Screens of each at https://attendell.com/inside-the-portal. ## Who it is for Groups of professional firms with the same CPD requirements, and the managing partners or consortium managers accountable for meeting them. A programme runs across several firms so that no single firm has to fill a season on its own. **A firm does not need a consortium already formed** — one firm can start the conversation and Attendell brings the other firms together. ## How a programme is set up 1. The buyer gives the profession, the country, and roughly how many people need CPD. 2. Attendell forms the consortium and appoints the curriculum lead. Because sessions run online, the firms need not be in the same city; they need the same requirements. 3. The buyer sees the proposed season, the requirement areas it covers, the dates and the cost per seat, before committing. **What the buyer decides:** profession and jurisdiction, season timing and number of sessions, how many firms and seats, and any practice priorities to factor in. **What Attendell owns:** the curriculum itself, topic selection and sequencing, speaker selection, delivery, attendance and the record. Once the season is set, each firm's only ongoing job is choosing who attends. ## Facts - Pricing: **$900 per seat, per season**, which is **$70-90 per seat per course** depending on how many courses the season holds. A seat covers one person for the whole season. The season price does not change with the size of the consortium; a larger consortium is quoted MORE COURSES for the same price, so the cost per course falls. Exact pricing and currency depend on the market and are set per programme. - Attendell delivers the CPD programme for **PD Consortium**, a consortium of 23 accounting firms in Ontario, Canada, that has operated since 1989: 270+ courses delivered, no missed season, and 6,000+ professionals accredited. Those figures describe that programme, not Attendell's own age, and the professional body is what accredits. - **Attendell is independent of any single consortium** and forms others in other professions and in Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Nothing in the model is specific to accounting or to Canada. See "Where Attendell operates" above for what runs today. - Attendell recruits **curriculum leads**: industry experts who plan a profession's curriculum and source its speakers. One is appointed per programme. The build produces a curriculum library plus the first season, paid as a fee, then a retainer for every programme running on it, plus a royalty each time another group of firms in the same profession builds a season from it. A season holds for about a year, so each year is planned again from the library rather than repeated; one refresh serves every programme running on it, adjusted per jurisdiction. A different profession needs a different library and a fresh build. See https://attendell.com/curriculum-leads. - Attendell engages **commission-only salespeople** to bring professional firms into new consortia. Commission is paid on invoiced seat revenue: **15%** of a firm's first-season seats, then a graduated renewal residual of **9%** and **5%** across the two seasons it renews, and **8%** on seats added in any year. After the third season the account moves to an Attendell account manager. Bonuses are available for filling a group: a season is built for about **450** seats and **500** is the live ceiling, so the last stretch is where a group earns most and where the selling is hardest. What that is worth is agreed case by case rather than set by a formula. - Attendell issues a checked record of credited hours. It is **not** an accrediting or certifying body; the professional body is. - Attendell is a service of Web Daily Limited, New Zealand. ## Contact - Book an introduction call: https://scheduler.zoom.us/marc-turner/introduction-call - Email: hello@attendell.com - Website: https://attendell.com
