Attendell plans the season against the requirements those firms work to, finds and briefs the speakers, and runs every session live and online on Toronto time. Each person’s hours are recorded as they earn them.
Sessions run online, so a firm anywhere in the province can join one. One firm can start the conversation, and Attendell brings together the other firms working to the same requirements.

Delivery
Every session runs live and online, on Toronto time.
Attendell sends the invitations, hosts and moderates each session, and records who joined and for how long. Attendees ask about their own work and the speaker answers during the session.
Sessions are recorded and available afterwards for a defined period, with the speaker’s materials. Partial attendance is credited at the time the person was there, capped at the length of the course.
Each firm nominates a rep or manager, who manages the roster and exports the firm’s record for a season or any date range. Inside the portal shows both screens.

Planning
The year is planned against the requirements Ontario accountants work to.
A curriculum lead, an expert who practises in the profession, maps the requirements that apply, chooses the topics that meet them and orders them across the year. Attendell then finds the speakers, vets them before booking, and reviews their materials ahead of each session.
CPA Ontario sets the continuing professional development requirements its members meet, and accredits the members who meet them. Attendell issues a checked record of credited hours and accredits nobody. Firms and individuals can see and export that record at any time, which is what a professional body auditing a member, or inspecting a firm, asks to see.

The same programme has delivered every season since 1989.
Attendell runs the CPD programme for PD Consortium, a consortium of accounting firms in Ontario. It began as a live seminar series in Toronto and moved online, and every session, attendance record and report on it now goes through Attendell.
Attendell is independent of any single consortium, and forms consortia in Canada, New Zealand and Australia. The figures below describe this programme rather than Attendell, and the professional body is what accredits.

Getting started
A firm in Ontario can join the next season.
Tell Attendell how many people at the firm need CPD. That is enough to say what a season would look like and what a seat would cost. A seat covers one person for every session in the season, at $70–90 per person per session. A season is $900 per person however many sessions it holds, and a larger consortium is quoted more sessions for the same price.
The firm sees the proposed season, the requirement areas it covers, the dates and the cost per seat before committing. After that, the firm’s only ongoing job is choosing who attends.
