Inside the portal
The firm and the attendee work from the same attendance record.
Each firm nominates a rep or manager. They manage the roster, track attendance course by course, and export the firm’s record for a season or any date range.
Every attendee reaches the same record for themselves: credited hours, any special requirement the profession sets a target for, such as ethics, the materials for each course and the recordings.
A season is a programme of courses planned for the year, and a seat is one person’s place on it, so eight seats cover eight people for every course in the programme.

Course records
Every credited hour carries its source and the time attended.
Attendance comes from the event itself, who joined and for how long, rather than from a sign-in sheet. An attendee who joins twenty minutes late is credited with the time attended, capped at the length of the course.
Each row also carries how the hour was earned: live, by phone, or from the recording. Participation is recorded as what happened rather than as present or absent, so an inspector asking how an hour was earned gets the answer from the row.

Adjustments
Attendance can be corrected without losing the original record.
Exceptions are ordinary: two people on one screen, a phone line, a login under an old address. The rep submits the hours and the reason, Attendell checks the request against the event, and the row then carries the credited time and how it was granted.
The adjustment stays attached to the course and to the record it changed, so a correction can be explained later rather than only trusted.

Reporting
The firm-wide report is ready before it is asked for.
A professional body inspecting a firm asks for every attendee against every course, with the hours credited to each. The rep selects the people and the date range and takes it as a PDF or a spreadsheet.
It reads the same record as every screen above it, so an inspection is answered with a download rather than a fortnight of somebody’s evenings.

Several firms
A manager across several firms sees what each of them has used.
Where one person is accountable for a group of firms, the portal totals the group’s seats, shows how much of each firm’s allocation is in use, and marks a firm that has gone past it.
Allocations move between firms as the season runs, so a group that bought forty-eight seats can put them where the attendance is.

For attendees
Attendees can produce their own record at any time.
A professional body audits the individual as well as the firm, and the individual is the half a firm cannot answer for. Each attendee reaches their credited hours across every season they have attended, any special requirement their profession sets a target for, such as ethics, and a statement to download the day their body asks for one.

Before a course they have the joining link. Afterwards they have the recording and the materials, and time spent on a recording is credited the way the live hour is, so someone who was in court that morning still earns it.

How a first conversation goes
The screens on this page carry an invented firm, because the live ones carry real people. On a call we open the same views against the professions, the firms and the requirements you are working with.
